Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers

What are Dermal Fillers?

Temporary dermal fillers are ‘gel-like’ cross-linked synthetic materials made up of Hyaluronic acid (a natural biodegradable component of our own skin that can be synthesised). Our hyaluronic acid dermal filler ranges will replace some of the lost hydration within your skin, whilst simultaneously replacing the volume under areas of volume loss or wrinkles. The most commonly used facial fillers provide temporary results which are biodegradable (broken down by the body) and require repeated applications over time. There are a number of filler products that are available and have been tested around the world, we only use FDA approved fillers only.

How does it work?

Dermal fillers can restore & revolumise skin & facial contours to form a more youthful appearance and are longer lasting than botulinum toxins. They can also smooth lines and wrinkles, firm key facial structures and define the shape of certain structures e.g. Lips. Static lines and volume loss are best treated with dermal fillers.
